A wish list without duplicates
Add what you would like. Guests tick off what they are taking, and everyone else sees it is gone. No money is handled on the site.
Photos afterwards
A gallery you can fill once the day is over, in the same place as everything else. The site stays as somewhere to look back on.
The site is not a template. The module behind it is.
There are services where you pick a template, swap the names and you are done. They are cheap, and for some people that is enough. But they look like what they are, and anyone who has been to a wedding this year has seen that template before.
Here the site is designed for the occasion. What gets reused is the machinery underneath: RSVP, guest list and wish list were built once and already work. That is why a site made for you does not have to cost what a development project costs.

It is deleted once it has done its job.
The site lives for 18 months. That covers the planning before and half a year after, which is plenty for the photos to be collected and everyone to have seen the programme.
Then it is deleted, and the guest list with it. Names, dietary needs and phone numbers for a hundred people are personal data, and they should not sit on a server for years because nobody remembered to clear up. That is not a limitation, it is the point.
